doug
How can I export my e-mails to, say a CDRW. The only option I can find under file is to export to Outlook or MS$ Exchange.
nellie2
You can backup your OE mail see here. Moon had a fantastic little freeware utility that would export your OE emails, but I can't find the thread. :(

andsome
Doug you DON'T need any special utilities. I regularly save special e-mails. Create in Outlook Express a new folder, mine is called things to keep. Open the e-mail, click on File and select move to folder and move it to your new folder. When you are ready to save them permanently, left click on an e-mail in that folder and click on file, save as, and save it into My documents. I have a special folder in my documents for this purpose. From there you can drag them onto a CD or a floppy disc. easy peasy.

doug
But how can I do a block save? i.e. select a complete block and copy those over, rather than one at a time?
scuzzman
Use Ctrl to select the emails (hold and select all the emails - you know the drill), then save as usual.
doug
Think I've found it. The Outlook express folder is located in my C:\Docs and setting\john\Local settings\Application data etc. So I've just copied that to the CDRW drive. Couls be a bit long winded copying it all back. There must be a simpler way?
scuzzman
I thought this is how you were doing it... it's much simpler...
