I still cannot understand why this anomaly was included in an update by MS.

I still don't understand why people don't want to login to Windows - you can use automated login. Logging in with a good password protects you from all kinds of things.

Having a firewall, antivirus and antispyware gives us quite a secure feeling, but a good logon password just gives an additional level of protection.

Why would you want to add the additional step of logging in on a home computer??

I trust my family. :P

EXACTLY my point. I can, if I want to, set the machine up to require logging on, I did not want it forced upon me.
