there was an article on country file earlier this week say that as the winters

are geting milder a lot of migatorary birds were staying for the winter.

they also said it was important to feed them as the insects they usually feed

on are not about in the winter.

Saw that myself. Keep your bird feeders topped up folks.

If you are going to feed the birds - make sure its ALL the time or not at all. Otherwise they sit about waiting and lose out on time to search for their own.

I've read that in very cold weather it can mean death to a small bird if the 'regular' supply isnt there.

:(

Just fed our lot the last christmas pudding. :rolleyes:
