Urgent Changes

At some point during the next 6 days, Windows Forum will be moving to a new server.

The new server is at a different location from the current server, and is also managed by a different company.

Technicians from the new company are currently configuring both servers so that a transfer can take place with minimal downtime.

The exact amount of downtime and transfer time is currently unknown, but an update will be provided when I have the information available.

Users of Windows Forum Webmail / POP3

While the transfer / outage takes place you will be unable to send or receive email. However any email sent to you during the transfer / outage will be delivered once the transfer is complete.

Craig.

Hi all,

As you may now be aware, we are on our new server.

The transfer happened almost instantly for some while others like me had to wait a short while before the changes come into effect.

There was a small problem, I forgot that I turned the board offline before the image was created, so no one could use the forum till around 2000 this evening when I realised, sorry!

Also, due to a minor small change behind the scenes, Webmail delivery is a little behind, but should be up to date shortly.

Thanks,

Craig.
