They are actually very clean animals. They clean and groom themselves daily....more than some humans. ;)

Unlike dogs, they are independant, do not respond to orders, yet are very affectionate. That is why many folks like them.............and perhaps why some don't. :D

They are also extremely sly. The go into other peoples gardens who have no wish for them to be there, and dig holes and crap in them. You have obviously never distubed a hole filled with cat crap when putting out plants.

I have never seen a cat sneek into a garden for the sole purpose of taking a crap. But if it did it is only doing what comes natural. And by digging a hole it makes it easy for you to cover....the cat was actually being considerate andsome.....unlike dogs, squirrels, skunks, deer, birds and rabbits who just crap on the open ground.

Do I hate these animals for doing what comes natural to them? Nope. And it all makes wonderful fertilizer anyway. :D

My sincere apologies to everyone! I set my shot up then due to other circumstances forgot to upload to Rebel. :(

I chose a scene from a 60's - 70's commercial from the TV where you had a series running of different minor disasters then it would always end with a chap lighting up a cigar with the voice-over of.

"Happiness is... ...A Cigar called Hamlet"

I set the scene with a lit Cigar in an ashtray with a box of Hamlets behind and a glass of whisky at the side, just like they always did on the commercials.

Well done to everyone who entered, I've just been looking through them and there are some excellent photo's.

You have missed the point. It's the very invisibility of the cat crap that causes the problem when you are putting out small plants. At least dogs do not jump over the gate and enter my garden. It is the fact that cats are never fully domesticated, and go where other people DO NOT want them that I do not like. People who own cats in built up areas, are anti social. A few years ago, someone moved in up our road, with FIVE of the wretched creatures. I would never deliberately injure any animal, but I kept the hose handy, and they had a good soaking at every opportunity. Thank goodness they are all dead now, and so is next doors ginger tom.

We are now way off topic in the forum. When do we judge?

Its very kind of you all to let me submit a photo, but I'll decline thank you. :flowers:

It was my fault for leaving it too late and you would all know which was my entry, it would be unfair to everyone.

I will show it at a later date though. I thought the interpretation of the theme was quite good, but at the same time I knew that only the older members of the forum would remember the commercial from the TV.
