deuces wild
I received a Napster gift card from a friend as a birthday gift. The card entitles me to 15 FREE downloads (prepaid with the card). He paid $14.85 for the card.So I go to the site this morning (www.napster.com) and find I have to install their program. No problem. After the installation is complete I start the program ready to download my FREE 15 songs. But hold on....I am now told I have to register. No problem.I pick a user name, password and enter my email address. I click the "redeem your Napster Card" button and have to re-enter the information. No problem.Oh-oh. User name taken. I enter a new user name, and reuse my password and email address. No problem.Oh-oh. Email address already used by another account. No problem.I enter in a new email address, fill in the secret numbers on the back of the Napster card (you have to scratch off a coating to reveal the numbers) and hit next. No problem. Looking forward to downloading my 15 FREE songs.Oh-oh. I am being asked to enter credit card information along with my name and address. Wait a minute, I thought the songs were FREE?Their explanation? The Napster program is a 14 day free trial. We want to ensure you will be able to enjoy the program after the free trial is over.Bullcrap. Close program. Uninstall Napster. I will get my songs from "other sources" (if you know what I mean) from now on. It is much easier.Anyone want 15 FREE songs? Be my guest. The Napster card number is 0693-8889-38309. The number is good for a year.

andsome
Better check your computer for Trojans, viruses etc. I wouldn't go anywhere near to any of these music download sites.
