Kids are less disciplined , because society is ....... Its not just the parents

Less disciplined, yes. The parents fault, yes. Teachers fault, no.

#  A fight at South High School in Cleveland leads to an assistant principal and a student being rushed to the hospital.Video: South High chaos video

The assistant principal was hit with a chair as students were fighting outside her office. The student was cut on the hand.

Chairs flying, fists flying, what happens next?

On Monday, an assistant principal at South High School was knocked unconscious by a flying chair. Last week, a boy's jaw was broken during a gang fight at Glenville.

What will it take to make Cleveland schools safe? The CEO of schools and her boss, the mayor, need to figure that out fast.

I just interviewed 30 Cleveland teachers. They all said the kids are out of control. Suspensions and expulsions are discouraged because the numbers will look bad to the folks downtown. No consequences means the kids run wild.

Just a question..... Has anyone ever met or know these politically correct people, who seem to have an awful lot of sway with the powers that be?.... I ask this because I am increasingly aware of the power they have over us but have yet to meet anyone who agrees with most of the bs that is spouted.... american lawyers perhaps?

Anyone?

The labour party and the present government in particular, are notorious for the PC business. They laid down the law to the local constituency parties in the last election, demanding a minimum number of women candidates, whether or not they were the most suited for that constituency. The rules and regulations that they have introduced concerning the nanny state are well known by all and sundry.

Hear what you're saying andsome but my question was based on... Has anyone ever met or know these people?... I still haven't met anyone who agrees with most of the pc stuff but it still gets through...so where are these huge (hidden) lobbyists coming from on the ground?... I can't find (or have spoken to) a single one

Very few people will openly say that they will vote for Blair ....(apart from mmbisto ) but there are still 18 on here ......

This is the "terror" of the situation. There are millions of people in this country who simply abhor the man, but who are socialists, in as much as they are awake to the needs of society, but who are not "Labour" (I am one, and, as far as I can judge, so are many more on this forum ). Sadly many people think this sort of socialism = Labour. It is a result of political doublespeak over the last threequarters of a century. It is this miss-guided lot who will vote for their local labour ne'er-do-well carpetbagger (and not personally for Blair) and who will, like the sheep and lemmings that they are, put the idiot back into power instead of in prison, where he truely belongs. Unfortunately the other two major parties are also ne'er-do-well, opportunist carpetbaggers too. We need a new system before we end up with a civil war/revolution.

The people who have the biggest reponsibility are the people in his own constituency. Will they do as they should? Or will we see a lot of postal voting up there??

Dunno ...... Anti war protests ,petrol, and fox/country rallies ............... more people have demonstrated on the streets of London than ever before .....but so what .....!

Where are our Churchill's Bevan's , and Edens ..........

pox on the 3 of them

800,000 people to decide (in the marginals) the rest of us go Baaaaa ......

incidentally not one has come round my house ...as its a dead cert (labour...)................ the funds have targeted specific areas of the country for seats that have a potential opportunity ...

Ah...so what you're saying is it's the silent majority..... No wonder they're not admitting to it..... Too ruddy embarassed and quite rightly so

Just like to clarify that this was aimed at the pc brigade.... not party allegiance as I'm assuming DJohn and others are thinking.... I don't think that pc is a one party thing per se, although I haven't met any supporters, so how would I know

Lots of things to agree with.

My job takes me into contact with people from all strata of society and the most vocal really detest Blair and his cronies but cannot see any alternative in the Tories.

Dunno ...... Anti war protests ,petrol, and fox/country rallies ............... more people have demonstrated on the streets of London than ever before .....but so what .....!

The point should be not 'so what' but 'why aren't the bastards listening?'

There is a ground swell growing amongst the people in this country - the party that is listening will benefit.

That party will be the BNP unless the major parties start to listen and react.

This is what makes me realise how near we are getting to serious civil disturbance. These rallies/protests/riots are becoming more and more frequent and less widely condemned by "the people". Enoch Powell could see some of it coming, but he was laughed out of court.

did you see their party political in bw with the "down and out " squadie ......?

Yeah, I think it laboured the point - if you forgive the pun.

They could have focused on the NHS, Sustainable energy, Organic farming and the pulling out of the EU to further their cause.

That PPB just reinforced a racist outlook.
