I have a Motorola SB4200 surfboard cable modem. r4may Posted June 24, 2005 Report Share Posted June 24, 2005 That's the problem i only have a 1mb boradband connection and it would take ages for me to download it,and my pc is a bit strange just now,that's the main reason i want to get away from windows. Downloading on that connection would take about 1 hours per ISO (3 off I believe) and you can carry on doing other things (surf the net or this forum) whilst the download takes place. The list is so you can find out if you are using a "winmodem" which is a software controlled modem.
