erdega79
I woke up today and suddenly I got black bars on my monitor. I uninstalled all the software I downloaded yesterday and tried to fix it through calibrating but to no avail. I include the screen shot

scuzzman
The only thing wrong with this screenshot is you're using Internet Explorer :lol:Seriously though, the screenshot looks fine - I'd say your monitor is on its way out.
erdega79
It's a decent monitor, less than 2 years old . When I rebooted I started seeing these soft dark bars. I am sorry if I can't describe it better. Thanks for patience
-pops-
You seem to have used some facility like Print Screen instead a picture of the screen itself. Print Screen will give what is supposed to be on screen rather than what you actually see there so, unless this darkening phenomenon occurs some way back in the processing of the signal, we will not see it by this method.I appreciate that it is very difficult to take a picture of a monitor screen so I think we will have to rely on your description of the fault.Have you tried another monitor? This will let you know if it's the monitor or the computer. Is there any software associated with the monitor that may be corrupt? Are all your graphics drivers up to date and thoroughly correct? Scarecrow Man
Can you take a picture of your monitor? With a digital camera perhaps...Perhaps your monitor is malfunctioning, probably nothing serious, but not easy to fix either.
Guest comrade
it looks ok to us because the problem is on his monitor not on us. And i suggest that take it to the service although i have no hope for recovering it.
