adamherb
Is there a way that I can downlaod updates for someone else that runs Windows 98. i have broadband but they are (maybe) going to get dial-up. I was hoping that I could download all of the Windows 98 updates and then have his computer pick the ones it needs to install.
-pops-
You can download and write to disk all available Windows patches from http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/I've not used this site so I can't say anything about its reliability but, it was suggested to me by someone I trust :) Scroll down the page for W98 updates. Boris
I have happily used The Software Patch site for nearly 2 years with no problems :)

Boris
http://exuberant.ms11.net/98sesp.htmlWarning - this is only for Win98 SE - NOT the original version of win98
Scarecrow Man
Upgrade to 98SE anyways. 98 is VERY outdated. You can find a 98SE disk (just an upgrade will do) anywhere. They are no more than $20 and sometimes you get lucky and find them in discount bins for $2 (I found 10 :) )
