Ive just picked up some Fullers London porter for £1.33 per bottle (its a dark)Chocolate malts and fuggle hops ...taste's like Nuky brown should taste if they didn't bland it for the mass marketI just picked up half a dozen for £1.32 per bottle. Tankus Posted August 20, 2005 Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 Hope you didn't miss the Young's Kew Brew clearance at £1.29 (500ml bottle) .A very light golden with a flower/hoppy subtle aftertaste ...... excellent (must be chilled) out in the garden Sunday afternoon ...(me tomorrow) yet its 5% ... a quaffer without a doubt .......I'm getting very boring since I bought this beer chiller fridge ...but its so much better than cans of stella or grolsh after a hard days chore with the children ....to put your feet up to . ....gotto keep it varied ...... I thought it advisable to try just one, I have to admit, I didn't think it possible for anything so good to come from south of Watford. Very well balanced, very smooth, creamy, and an excellent flavour. It will have a permanent place on my shopping list. Thanks for the suggestion. OK then , pretend it's wine, but make sure you swallow the stuff. Remember vanilla tastes like, well, bird's custard. Brakspear Triple (Oxford)...triple fermented bottle matured (7.2%) red ......... a fav ....superb finishMay be a bit late for work tomarrh captain!
