Opera Goes FREE!!!!!!!!!!!

That's something I could never understand about Opera - why was there a paid for version? None of the others are paid for and to have to pay to be rid of a few adverts seemed a bit OTT.

I used to like Opera as a browser but there was too much mucking about with it, introducing new versions which were only partially compatible with the old one and such like that I gave up with it.

It did seem to be faster than others but that was when I was on dial-up. Whether that will show with 2Mb broadband is doubtful.

I might give it another go.

I've tried Opera, but gave it up as I could not get the spell checker to work.

I'm back to using Firefox and IE.

I couldn't get the spell checker to work in Firefox, and the program took a lot of getting rid of. Thats why I stick to IE. Each to his own.
