Tankus Posted October 30, 2005 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 arf ....I'm still around ..........heh ...Im on the windows ...... plastering's nearly done ...rather pleased with myself as I had a result ....was going to go down the plastic double glazing route ...but then one of my contractors mentioned a chippy who rebuilds the original Victorian sashes ...... builds them on-site in hardwood with the original fixture's pulleys and weights ... hes done the front bay ..and the results are excellent ..... so hes going to do the rest , and two French doors in the kitchen ..... I would like to be finished by Christmas ........the worst is over .... I'm not going particularly fast ...but ....
