Doubtful, as he was likely unaware or not involved in any of the accusations., although it will be a black eye for him.

In the US, indictments mean very little..........one can indict a ham sandwich if there is enough support to do so.

That being said, if serious illegal activities are discovered I hope all, including Bush if he was involved, are sentenced to the fullest extent the law permits.

Lame excuses we have previously seen, such as "that depends on what your defintion of 'is' is" are not acceptable, although they were to many on the left during the "I did not have sex with that woman" hearings. ;)

It won't affect Bush greatly. He is in the first year of a four year term and short of personal involvement, which doesn't seem to be on the cards at the moment, will see this scandal off.

Of greater importance to him, I believe, at the moment is the growing anti-involvement in Iraq movement.
