Chris
Apple will open its Manchester Apple Store in the Trafford Centre on November 19. A note on Apple's site invited Mac users to the launch event, enticing them with free T-shirts and some "great prizes". "Come and help us celebrate the opening of the UK's newest Apple Store, at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. On Saturday November 19 we'll have a T-shirt giveaway and you'll be able to enter our Grand Opening Sweepstake. Throughout Grand Opening Month, we'll host a variety of in-store demonstrations and workshops all free of charge," the company declares. The first 1,100 people through the doors will receive a free Apple T-shirt. The Grand Opening Sweepstake prize is a Digital Lifestyle Collection worth £1,855. The winner wins a 20-inch iMac G5, a 4GB iPod nano, a Nikon Coolpix 5600 digital camera, a Canon MV800 camcorder and an HP PSC 1610 printer." Upon going through the entrance I was enticed to give a "High 5" with one of the staff...I "high 5'd" him like I was doing when I was 7 years old  Then I was given one of the boxes they were throwing, yup I got myself a t-shirt :DThe store is long and errr everything is on display! They had a few 30" Apple Display Screen [thingess] and they are HUGE....the sheeeer size of the thing was umm great. I'd never seen one before so it was a sight! There were also iMacs and everything else......meh if you have a store near you then go to one.....i liked it  I also took along Miss CC but resisted the temptation
