The thermometer in my car which measures the outside temperature gives it in Fahrenheit. +1 at the moment, or rather when I went out at 0830 this morning. And the climate control is also set for Fahrenheit. I wonder why. I suppose most UK folk want it that way.

If you use celsius, why do the weather people always convert it to fahrenheit on the news programs ?

Mind you all the Spanish price labels have pesetas as well as €`s

How do you convert from pesetas into fahrenheit?

You can only convert baked pesetas to fahrenheit, put a large thermometer beside the baked peseta, sit on the peseta and get a friend to mark off how high up the fahrenheit scale you jump, dont know what the general reading should be as I only use €`s. ;)

Thank you. It really is amazing how educational this forum has become over the last couple of weeks.

Does anyone know how to thatch a pork sausage?

Don't know about thatch but to hatch a pork sausage put it under your cat whilst it is sleeping (but remember to remove quickly as soon as you hear the sausage sizzling!) ;)

I'd rather kick the cat and eat an unthatched sausage.

Shame on you spoiling this very funny and informative thread :( and you the top forum chef as well

PS. Thatched sausage - drape sausage across back of neck before having haircut - waterproof with a light coating of hairspray.

Sorry andsome but you won't be able to accomplish this :D
