Software and Hardware firewalls such as Kerio (soft) or AlphaShield (hard) provide two-way protection.You should not rely on Windows Firewall. Software and Hardware firewalls such as Kerio (soft) or AlphaShield (hard) provide two-way protection.You should not rely on Windows Firewall.Zone Alarm is first class, but as with any third party firewall, download it to a folder, I have created one called My Downloads, then DEACTIVATE Windows Firewall before installing the third party one, otherwise you could get conflicts.
