Damo
Well, this is a rather strange problem that I can't figure out!I can't access my website www.mischievousspirits.co.uk at all, In IE I get a page cannot be displayed error, in FireFox i get a connection timed out error, and in opera I get a similar error.I also can't access the site via FTP. So from this I thought it was a host problem - I've rang them and they've assured me there is nothing wrong with the server and they can get on to the site.Other members of the site can still get on the site - so why can't i?I've done all the usual clearing cookies, temp files and cache, but still nothing. I've tried going in via search engines and pages other than the index page, but again nothing. This is annoying now and i need a quick fix as I have to update the site.Anyone got any ideas or clues as to what might be wrong? BTW I've also tried disabling AV and Firewalls.ThanksDamo

Damo
LOL I wish that's all it was!....I still can't get into my site, half the bleeding pictures havent uploaded because it lost the connection halfway through aswell!!This is seriously annoying, everyone else on my site have no problems, my host says there is nothing wrong, as do my ISP, which leaves my computer to be the cause...but how? It really is only my site and no other so I can't see what on my computer could cause it.
Scarecrow Man
Firewall? Another idea is to set your site up as a "trusted site" in Internet Explorer.

scuzzman
Can you ping the site? Is it hosted, or are you hosting it yourself?
Damo
Well it seems to be back up again for the moment, puzzling though as to what may be causing it.Scuzz - I have the site hosted by 1and1.co.uk, When I couldn't access it I tried pinging it but was getting no response at all.I have raised it again, with both my ISP and Host company so ill have to see if they have any more ideas! Thanks All
