Thos Posted April 5, 2006 Report Share Posted April 5, 2006 It was with tremendous shock I heard of the death of Gene Pitney overnight in a hotel in Cardiff. He was undertaking yet another tour of the UK in his 65th year and seemed to be still selling out wherever he performed. His was an unusual and fascinating delivery and I can't say I totally enjoyed it but his stuff was memorable and, I guess, will live on forever.He gave enjoyment to millions the world over.R.I.P.Thos. :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
