andsome Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 I decided to bite the bullet and give this a trial. I created a system restore point and I have an Acronis back up. So far I am NOT over impressed and have not found any real advantage apart from an anti phishing filter. This much vaunted tab browsing seems pointless. In IE 6 I can open as many web pages as I like simply by going to Start /IE Explorer. I can then click on the system tray at the bottom to bring up any page that I want. A snag that I have found is that if I use Crap Cleaner, my website cookies like the one for this site, Pitstop, PC Adviser etc are lost when I next boot up, even though Crap cleaner has them in the save folder. It may take a little while, but you will soon be addicted to it... :P CCleaner is not yet 100% ready for IE7. Later this week version 1.30 will be released that should have all IE7 problems fixed. Had to waste over an hour installing my Acronis back up. Thanks pops for going on at us so much until I gave in and bought the back up program.
