Having a quick look through the features list, it looks like VLC doesn't support Real or Quicktime formats Belatucadrus.

Personally, that's what I look for in a media player so as I can use one player for all common formats as I've found if you try to use 2 players(i.e. Quicktime and WMP)you invariably get some sort of conflict.

Just checked VLC portable with quicktime and it works fine, don't have any Real files to check it with.

I had trouble installing it .. For some reason the installer crashed and remained that way ... I'll give it another try later .. Sounds good, but I still like the old fashioned MPlayer for Linux .. :)
