Java 2 RTE

Recommended Posts

There are a couple of programs I use that require Java.

I have both version 7 and version 8 installed....dunno why.

Java is disabled on my browsers.

Do I need version 8?

The programs seem to complain about version 8.

Is version 8 aimed at win8 users. I use Win 7x64.

I am thinking of un-installling Java 8v11x64.

What do you think...

Hello Pat, The complaint is an error message that says:

You are using the wrong Java version. Use an original Sun Java. Start the program anyway? Your Version: Runtime Version 1.8.0_11-b12

It all works OK. It's just the tiresome error message at launch.
