jason.b.c
Conclusion......... you can't build a computer without a working internet connection!!Oh sure you can.. :D Don't ask me how I did it, but I somehow managed to install windows on both hard drives!!So you went the Raid+1 route.? Very smart way to prevent against data loss... :D It seems that Windows doesn't have drivers for the SATA drives, so you need to boot from the Manufacturers software to format the drives, but I didn't have the software!!Thats very strange.. The Windows disk should have had stuff like that on it, I know it has alot of other almost useless stuff on it if someone were to ever get curious and care to look .. ( game demo's , demo software , etc ) But usually it has all the ( minimum ) required drivers and such in there just to get the system going good enough to get it on the internet and start updating things..Hmmmm, that is when I realised that this type of drive doesn't have a jumper setting and... it doesn't connect up to the IDE cable either. Well that solved a mystery for me anyway as I had wondered what those thin red cables were for!! (please don't laugh too loudly) :D LOL.!Nah i always thought they had jumpers too.., Wait.! , Then if they don't have jumpers then how did the system tell the differance between master and slave..??? Not unless you did a Raid-0 system..?? Wich wouldn't be too wise... :(
