-pops-
What a load of rubbish.A lack of money can bring extreme unhappiness ergo the converse must apply.
andsome
I wonder how much they get paid to churn out garbage. I echo pops's sentiments.
CurlyWhirly
Well I'd definently be happier if I had more money as I wouldn't have to worry about paying my mortgage, loans, credit cards, etc!No money worries = a happier life
catgate
I have always believed the old saying, "Happiness can not buy you money."
joysness
Ever notice it is always those who have lots of money that say "money doesn't buy happiness"? If that's true why aren't they miserable and giving away all that money so they can be happy? I have never heard a poor person say they are happy because the don't have enough money. Thos
At the end of the article there is a headline which says "Six figure salaries are good for your heart"Now that is something I can agree with.Thos.Ps I expect another of our old-timers to suggest £10 10s and 10p as a six figure salary! gordythegouge
Now........I've been in a state of advanced, pernicious poverty for as long as I've been married.....which is quite some time! However........in the interests of science and knowledge only, off course......I am willing to sacrifice this sublime state and make a martyr of myself by offering myself up for donations! Yes...you can send all your used fivers, cheques, paypal, bankers drafts to ME and I will tell you all.......no secrecy here.....whether or not it has made me happier!!! Off course, it''ll probably take quite a lot of donations on your part to make a real difference....but..that's the sacrifice YOU have to make! Only fair? However....given the general tone of this forum...perhaps I'd better not hold my breath whilst waiting for the torrent of lucre to pour through my letterbox!! Sigh............such a dood idea too! :(
