Since when does "immediate" equate with "the next few days"?Meanwhile hundreds/thousands of innocents are being slaughtered.Never underestimate the inhumanity of the human raceIt is very sad and worrying for the future of everyone. Since when does "immediate" equate with "the next few days"?It is very sad and worrying for the future of everyone.It is nit picking to say that the prime minister's statement does not make sense or that he and all the rest of us are not aware of the slaughter that is taking place.If your sympathies are with Israel the answer is for the "terrorists" to stop their actions. If your sympathies are with the Arab sides the answer is for Israel to stop its persecution of the Palestinians.Statesmen have to work to find some middle ground to offer up when the time is right. Religion has caused more wars and loss of life over the world than any other cause. Everyone has a right to worship a God if they so wish, but this can better be done with friends and family in private, and does not need to be led by someone in a funny frock and hat, who thinks that only his way of worship is the right one, and well worth killing off the opposition for.One particular zealot who belonged to a bowls club of which I was a member, told me that I should be thoroughly ashamed of myself for playing bowls on a Sunday, and that I should instead be attending Church.
