doug
Went for a training run this morning even though the forecast last night was a bit iffy as my weather station was predicting sun/cloud. Now this is usually about right. As I trotted my merry way a light drizzle started this progressively became heavier. Then as I was going down Worm Hill - from the Legend of The Lambton Worm - it started to pour. By this time I was about ¾ of a mile from my turning point at Cox Green so I carried on. The return journey was murder! Going up Worm Hill was awful It was chucking it down and this is a very steep hill anyway. My glasses were completely blurred both front and back; shirt soaked front and back; shorts drenched; trainers and socks wringing; then to cap it all I was wet through to my knickers - not a comfortable feeling. Anyway I just had to keep going finally got back home in a reasonable time considering the conditions only to be greeted with comments about drowned rats by herself! Now should I put in a complaint to Omega - the manufacturer of the Weather Station? dadyassa
Must of been the wet we had yesterday, it blew over from Morroco. The Spanish forecasts are excellent, mind you its usually sunny so not a lot to predict ;) Well done for keeping going you know it makes sense, you would of got twice as wet if you had walked home. ;)
doug
Well I couldn't have got any wetter, when I stopped water dripped off every protuberance.
AlanHo
I thought you northern runners were a tough hardy lot and not prone to moaning about a bit of damp weather. Is your protuberance not waterproof?
