-pops-
Hmmmmm.....You're not really asking on the right forum for this. Windows Forum is UK based and as such, nothing is cheap here - that's why some have given the country the nickname "Rip-off Britain". Often we pay the same figures in pounds Sterling as you do in US Dollars and at the moment the conversion rate is £1 = 1.68$.
Scarthy © ® ™
Some places I use, though I am not sure what the postage to the USA will be, or if they do it, are...MISCOCCL ONLINEEBUYERLOWEST ON THE WEBYou could always contact them and ask them? ;)
rong
The thing to do is buy an OEM version with the new hard drive.

jason.b.c
The thing to do is buy an OEM version with the new hard drive.Yea but aren't you talking about pre-installed...??? Or does that mean a new hard drive plus an XP disk along with it...?There's noway i'll ever settle for preinstalled, Even if/when i buy a new computer i'm going to get a refund on the preinstalled system i didn't use and declined on the user agreements and get my own disk...Why bother with XP. Vista is just round the corner.I wouldn't know what to do with that piece of **** of an OS , Besides that, It's not going to be able to run on this computer anyhow...In fact, I wouldn't even want Vista on a new computer after all the really bad things i've heard about it already..From user's of it.. rong
In this country you can get the disk separate, with the hardware.
