I wasn't offended. :) I've been in my job long enough to realise that civil servants like me are stereotyped along with the people that I deal with every day.I work in my local Jobcentre, I'm the manager of a section that takes new claims to benefit. The majority of people that I deal with every day have suffered a major setback/change in their life. They are worried and stressed and I do what I can to make the process easier for them. It's not easy though, there are a lot of things that are outside of my control.
