Whether or not one agrees with the closing , or moving, of certain threads it would be beneficial to mere members, such as myself, if the actions were signed. We could then guage the tolerance levels of certain site management team members and save our best threads until they were on holiday. :D

Oh.... busy little fingers at work ,I can picture Northys finger last night, poised in sweaty anticipation over the delete key ,itching to be stabbed down in a fit of moral indignation......

Signing off a thread by the original poster may even save our beloveds a bit of work ...?

Difficult line to draw, Moon, good idea though. I guess there is a wide age range in here ,with the occasional thread getting a bit more risqué as the alcohol level increases and the later it gets (guilty as charged, m'lud )

hhhmmm...my last few posts have been a bit unnecessarily smutty ...!

Think Ill try a bit of restraint this week......

LOL ! Well, I can't think of one youngster who would enjoy looking forward to a sexless and humouress future nor one pensioner who would enjoy reminiscing on a sexless and humourless past. :D This site, imho, has got its tolerance level just right and I'm in no way questioning that. I'd just like to see a name put to ammendments, is all. :D I'm always looking to erode divinity. :D

We do have to try and keep a little 'decorum in the forum' as we can get visitors from all ages/sexes, if they find it offensive we may find ourselves losing members.

I don't think it matters who does the moving/closing as we mods are usually in fairly close agreement, I've overstepped the mark a couple of times and suffered.

At the end of the day what is done - is done for the good of the forum.

Agreed. But how do the sensitive and righteous visitors know whom to thank ? :D
