I think you will always get different results between different testers.

If you want the best idea of speeds, do several and pool the results.

I prefer to look at the quickest and tell myself how well I am doing.

Both pops new one and expertec's are close to the best recorded of 4.6 Mps.

I get wildly varying results from them all, even when used within seconds of each other. I wonder if there is a guaranteed accurate one.

I think the best plan is to pool the results.

I have noticed, though, that repeating a test on the same tester within a narrow period can give widely differing results.

I visiting my son later and I'll do a test there. He lives close to his studio and I want to try speed tests on his home setup with and without his studio Internet connection being used and see if there is a significant difference in speeds.
