When changing your password there are 2 options I can select hopefully they have solved your password/login problem.However back to this topic I'm afraid to tell you that, it looks as if it is something on your PC that is preventing you from seeeing the attachments.As you can ses below I loged in as yourself [as discussed in the PM] and the attachment panel is there and waiting...I tried it in 3 different browsers and they all show the attachments panel.Thank you. I am now logging on with the password you sent me in your e-mail of 17 Dec (2239 hrs) and all seems to be well as far as log-on is concerned.Thos. I am still not getting an attachment panel. Any clue from the "DONE !" error warning?2. Thos Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 Following Pat's information on Secunia in another post, I ran the program, found old, risky versions of Flash Player, uninstalled them and installed the latest version.I now find that the attachment box, which I have been moaning about for ages has now appeared, like a pantomime fairy, below the reply box.Whether it is the re-installation of Flash Player or some magic intervention by you, Chris or Craig, I don't know, but at the moment all is well.And to celebrate...... Thos Posted December 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 I am sorry to come back to this again but my euphoria at the return of the attachment panel lasted for only one visit to the forum. I am afraid that the panel has disappeared once more and I cannot post attachments. For a brief period the ability to send attachments returned when I found that there were old versions of Macromedia Flash Player on my computer and with Pat's help I was able to delete those and install the latest version. However, as I said, that relief was short lasting.CRAIG suggested that it might be a problem associated with Java. I brought Java up-to-date but this has had no effect.CHRIS asked if I had tried another browser. At that time I hadn't but I have now downloaded Firefox and the same absence of the ability to send attachments to this forum exists. However I do not get the yellow triangle by the "Done" comment at bottom left on Firefox. (I posted the error box arising from that warning triangle with my post of 18 Dec 2006 10.34.)It is clear that it is a problem at my end so can anyone decipher that error message and give any advice on what I can do to restore the ability to post attachments to the forum?Thos Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Is it possible that you have disabled javascript in both Internet Explorer and Firefox?(I will shortly go and check how to enable javascript on Firefox. I cannot identify a particular time it started but I think it was around when the "Frosty" skin came out, hence my original thought that it was a Board problem, now debunked by Chris.Thos. If the problem reappears I now know what to do.I am grateful to you for your trouble in showing me how to overcome this irritant.
