doug Posted February 12, 2007 Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 As I've posted elsewhere since I've got back onto Broadband I've been struggling a bit with Firefox - page loading slowing down to a halt before they finish completely loading. This doesn't happen with all sites but happens sufficiently frequently to be more than irritating, especially with banking and on-line grocery shopping. So I'm using IE7 for these sites reasonably well. Now my next problem is with Ccleaner. It runs OK in Firefox but what settings should I use with IE7 in that every time I run Ccleaner I the have to re-input passwords etc. Now as an old buffer be gentle I need to know where to look and what settings to use Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

andsome Posted February 12, 2007 Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 Best to start afresh by using CC as usual. Then visit all the sites in question and log on etc. This will create new cookies. Then open CC but DON'T use it. Click on OPTIONS/COOKIES, both on the left hand side. All the newly created cookies will be in the left window. Highlight each one and then move it to the right hand side. Having done that, on the main opening page under Windows, untick the box which says delete index.dat files. Anyway, I followed up using andsome's procedure, may go the whole hog and do a fresh install on Ccleaner. Anyone else using page's suggestion?
