I have a feeling if/when this story finalises we may have another angle to some of the oddities of the last eighteen months. Watch out for SFO to crop up. Tankus Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 There are suggestions that Falconer allegedly leaned on him( in some news papers) , which may have resulted in a change on his views over the legality of Iraq ......leverage I wonder also , due to his position ....its more than just a question of morality ,....its his integrity, which you cannot divorce from his job ..as it goes to the very heart of the man , hes prepared to lie and deceive the person that knows and trusts him the most ... this has to be one of the few jobs that is so critical (people die on his decisions) , the person has to be beyond reproach .... and believed to be beyond it ....!Its one thing that two shags has rogered his way through the civil service ,and then herr Blunket was doing home office favours fer a swift knobby .... but I think that this is on another level ..We can vote idiots out if were are "not amused" ...... But Attorney General's we are stuck with Its not a private matter ....Its about trust and integritary ......sounds a bit prudish I guess (moi...?) ,but there are over 100 dead British soldiers and god knows how many Iraqi's because of this man , it comes down to whether you believe him or not , and trust his judgement ........ ask his wife ,she probably knows him best ....? What a shabby bunch they have been. The last Tory government was rightly accused of corruptness and sleaze, but this shabby lot have succeeded in breaking all records.
