Craig
The forum will be undergoing maintenance behind the scenes at 13:00 GMT.Maintenance will last for approximatly 30 minutes, during which time the forum will become a little "slower than normal".After maintenance is complete, hopefully the overall performance of the site will be better.Regards,Craig

Irene
I am sorry to say that it is EXTREMELY SLOW Craig. It was great this morning and later, but now it is abysmal. :(
Craig
Some settings seem to have gone missing during the maintenance which mean I cannot get the Portal page to export data at the moment. It will not cause any issues as it is for the time being, so I shall leave it turned on.Craig

Craig
Just a quick reminder that I will be updating where windowsforum.org points to tonight at midnight GMT.At that point it is anyone’s guess how long it will take before the domain points to the new location (usually within 24 hours).Everything is in place at the new location with the exception of the database. I cannot transfer the database until the domain updates for me due to some technical issues.I am hoping that the domain will point to the new location by 10AM GMT at which point I will then transfer the database from the current location to the new server.Due to the nature of the backup site, this will also be unavailable between midnight and 9AM as it is stored on my home computer which is turned off while I sleep!Once the site is up and running on the new server, I will post a temporary link here at the current location. This will help anyone who has trouble accessing the new location using windowsforum.orgCraig

Craig
The move has completed. With the exception of a subdomain issue, everything is fully operational.I will be interested to see feedback on the current performance of the site.RegardsCraig
rong
Very fast at the moment, the time to tell though will be this evening.
-pops-
Very quick. Had a good cleanout of cookies and things last night but once they were re-installed, it's now very fast.Back on line quick as well although I couldn't log into the backup site - it kept going to an Invision log-in which didn't do anything AND which was also called WIDNOWS forum.
