Scarecrow Man
Can you reset folders to default?
Coreper
that option is available, but would that also erase all the custom file open options i made?
Scarecrow Man
I am not sure. Give it a try, or make a restore point before you do it.

Scarecrow Man
I had this problem a while back. I tried everything I could think of and eventually gave up and restored from backups.Actually. My problem was caused by 1st Security Agent (which I DO NOT recommend for use with XP)

Musiq
A similar thing happened to me, only I made a "Open with explorer.exe" and now everything opens in new windows, and I can't delete the option.I have never edited the registry, so if someone tell me how to delete these things it would be appreciated..
