F1 and British Super Bikes

I have just watched both the above and must admit to great disappointment.

For some silly reason, in both programmes, ITV choses to show cars in one programme, and motor bikes in the other, going round on a track. This may be OK for just an extremely short period but it totally destroys the flowing transition from the primping, preening, empty twittering of presenters and commentators to the puerile, empty, banal adverts.

By my estimation the circulation of these vehicles on screen must have occupied a total of well over half an hour over the period when these programmes were transmitted.

????

The F1 transmission from Bahrein was over 2 hours and, as a fan, I thought it a bit boring, though the commentators tried to jazz it up. Don't care for motorbike racing myself.

Plenty of football on though. Man U v Chelsea should make a good cup-final.

Thos.
