rong Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 You will probably have difficulty getting spares as they went out business ages ago (this I was told trying to find parts for one for a customer) so you will need to find a good service agent to get anything for it. next question is what do you need to find out about from a manual ? I know that this is an old machine, but I am informed that the build is far superior to the new models. I only paid a friend £50 for it, and similar reconditioned models at the dealers are nearer to £250. It is running beautifully, and even I who have never used a petrol mower can start it easily. I suppose I don't really need a manual, I just like to browse them and get to know an object properly, so if I can get one, then I will. We don't have a very large back lawn, preferring mainly flower beds, and the front is a conifer garden with gravel. 'Er indoors has been moaning at me because I sometimes scalp the edge of the lawn with the old electric mower, which has two silly little wheels at the front, one of which is liable to drop over the edge.
