Need for additional information in Members Profile

Over the last year or so there has been an increase in the use of "dude" or "man" (and others) as an appellation at the beginning or end of a post.

Would it not be proper to make some sort of indication in ones profile as to whether one was a dude or a man or something totally different, like a ham sandwich (with or without mustard) or a bro?

I'm afraid that it's a deplorable common trend. This goes along with such saying at the beginning of a thread such as , "OK, here's the deal". To what deal are they referring? Another irritant is the constant use of the word like, in completely inappropriate places.
