doug Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 The 2 Prawns Chapter 3The saga so far:-Paul and Christian had been close friends ever since they had spawned as prawns. However Paul had become very depressed with his life and had made a wish for something different. After a flash of watery blue lightening, which is very unusual under water, his Prawn Fairy Godmother had appeared and grated him 3 wishes. His first wish was to be a Great White Shark. The Prawn Fairy Godmother had waved her wand and there was another flash of watery blue lightening. Now read on:-Paul found that he had indeed turned into a Great White Shark. Whoosh! He was off. He charges all over the seas and oceans. Nothing worried him, he saw off all other predators. The only thing that bothered him was the cold waters near the poles so he stayed in the warmer waters.The months went by but he started to become lonely. No one wanted to talk to him, every one and thing gave him a wide berth. He couldn’t even chat to other sharks. His swimming slowed right down. He even developed dorsal droop.“Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear”, he moaned. “I wish I hadn’t chosen to be a shark. It’s all so very lonely. Oh I wish I was something else”.Flash and there was this tiny streak of watery blue lightening. Would you believe it? There she was again his very tiny little Prawn Fairy Godmother.“Don’t forget Paul. You still have 2 wishes remaining”, she said.“So I have” said Paul. “It was a very bad mistake wanting to be a Great White Shark. It’s so lonely, No one wants to chat. I wish I was with some people that wanted to chat and gossip”. “What would you want to be?”She asked.“I fancy being a herring. I’ve seen them in the distance, chatting away but whenever I tried to get close they scampered”.“Well make your wish,” She said.“OK. I wish I was a herring”.
