Think of the non-religious fanatics in recent history: Stalin, Hitler, Mao Tse-Dung, Pol Pot. I think humans all have a tendancy to fanaticism and it comes out when they feel threatened by "others". Longer than this forum has existed. The cat first saw the light of day in the 60s. It was created by a friend who was an extraordinarily gifted cartoonist and it has figured on my home produced Xmas cards ever since. It had the holly extracted in order to come on to WF in the first place, and so over the years the holly is just another part of it's yearly cycle.
