danieljoseph
Hey,I am newbie here and I am also looking for a anti-spyware, I just use Adware Alert antispyware, which I purchased in a high price from a worst website www.adwarealert.com, This anti-spyware is not of any use, I just waste my time and money to try this anyway, reply is pretty well, Thanks
andsome
This is one of the best Unfortunately the website has a problem at present, so wait a while. Get the free vesrion. Here is another oneThis one too. This one sits on the computer and helps prevent Spyware from downloading. It does not scan. :D Use them all. Hb_Kai
DanielJoseph:Go here... http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=adware+al...lient=firefox-aYou may have downloaded a rogue virus scanner. You should do some research about that scanner you've downloaded and decide whether you should remove it or not.

andsome
:0 Just mystified as to why andsome and Hb_Kai are now replying to an 11 month old problem ??The reason being that I received an e mail notification of a new post to this topic. I did not check the date as I had no reason to think that it was not today. It would appear to me that whoever made a new posting then deleted it. trapweed
I used to use AVG, then I went to PC Tools, and then I got Cyberdefender. For free, I thought PC Tools was OK, but now it only lasts 30 days.Cyberdefender Free is only a scanner for viruses, but it will remove spyware and trojans.I really liked the interface of Cyberdefender, and I ended up paying for the upgrade when I got a virus that PC tools missed but Cyberdefender got. So the payed version works really well, and the 24/7 computer help has come in handy for my son.For free only, I would try PC Tools, which I thought was better than AVG. fragnfrak
I use Cyberdefender anti-virus. I got the free anti-virus scanner first off there website (www.cyberdefender.com). It found a lot of stuff on my system, I got rid of the spyware and Trojans. I also had viruses, so I bought the upgrade which got rid of everything on my system. When I bought that one, it came with 24/7 computer help. I have used that twice and they were very helpful. So far so good with Cyberdefender . AndyXS
Most decent AV have anti-spyware in now. However, I would recommend EMSI ASquared. If run your browser in a sandbox and install HIPS and you won't need anti-spyware
