AlanHo Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 I am experiencing an odd problem opening a new topic in the lounge.I have a shortcut on my desktop which opens the New Topic page - but recently it has become grumpy. It opens the page but the box for attachments does not open quickly - it shows a message "initialising Attachments" for several minutes. Sometimes - if I close the window and try again it works - but only 50% of the time.The shortcut address is :-http://forums.windowsforum.org/index.php?a...ew_post&f=1Conversely - if I browse to "The Lounge" page and click on the "New Topic" button - it opens a new window with the attachment box OK and ready for me to browse my hard drive for the required file - even though the URL showing in my browser address window is the same as above.Can anyone offer an explanation - I am mystified.
