How can I print a list of CD tracks?

I have some CDs containing talks by various people, all in MP3 format. If I Open or Explore the CD using Media Player 11 when it's in the player on my computer I get a nice list on the screen of the names of the speakers, titles of the talks, duration, etc. What I want to do is print out this list so I can put it in the plastic case with the CD and photocopy it if I want to make copies of the CDs to give to other people.

But for the life of me I can see no way to print the details that are listed so conveniently there on the screen. There's no print option anywhere available on any of the menus or dialogue boxes on that screen.

I downloaded the Windows XP 2003 Funpack which has a utility to export library lists to Word for later printing. But this appears to require me to copy the original CDs onto my hard disk, which I don't want to do because of the space they'll take up and the time it will take to copy all the talks (about 20 talks on each disk, each one lasting upto 1 hour.)

Anyone got any suggestions?

Just a thought. Have you tried dragging across the list and highlighting everything, then right click/copy.? Then paste into Word. :D

Can you not take a screenshot as a .jpg and use that?

If so use this :-

For some reason andsome the copy option doesn't appear when using Media Player, only different options to display the list in various ways.

Yes, indeed, catgate, that worked and I used Paint to crop the list and printed it out. It's a bit fuzzy but it serves my purposes adequately. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, it does, and many complaints listed by McAfee as well, so I didn't use that one Boris. However Directory Lister Pro is available from other Green sites & I've downloaded it for a trial. It's just less than 1 Mb and is a new version (Jan 2008). It's says it's free for 30 days, after which I'm "expected to purchase it" for $20. It seems to be the only trusted product available. It looks to me quite complex for my simple purpose, but I'll try it when I get time, meanwhile I'll make do with the Screenshot list.

Thanks, but I've already dowloaded the new version for the 30-day trial. I've already tested it and seems to fail on one vital piece of information: there's no facility for listing track duration. Presumably that's because that info is not included in the disk's directory but is calculated by a media player when the file is opened. So that takes me back to square one again.

So I think I'll make do with the screenshot method which gives me all the information I need.

I've also discovered there is a method of listing all the information I need using Nero's disk labelling utility. But it looks tortuously complicated and is designed to produce a professional-looking product. All I want is a handy list for my own use and a few copies for friends.
