Devanski
...would have been the sound he would have heard in times gone by...Gypsies,tramps and thievesTo think they used to just bag them with a shotgun...Oops I can't say that .. can I? ...now they go to the police. Times have changed indeed... :D
catgate
We sometimes get them around us, every few years. They are a race apart.....thankfully.They need no protection than they already have. They can do more or less as they please and they know it.
andsome
The fact that this case has even been considered for prosecution is a sad reflection on the PC attitudes of those in authority in this country. From what I have seen of so called travellers in this country they are nothing but trouble. At present there is an encampment just off the toll both exit/entrance for the M6 toll road at Burntwood. It has take but a few days for the site to become littered rubbish. They always leave a trail of litter behind them wherever they stay. There is an authorised site a few miles away at Cannock, but this is more often than not almost empty, because they have to pay a small fee and behave themselves. You might find that these are not Gypsies, as generally they are quite tidy. It's the culture that makes out every young person is going to stab you. It's the culture that makes out every young person is going to stab you.I don't care whether they are gypsies or travellers. As I said, inside just a few days the place is a mess. There is no need for this filth. As stated there is an authorised site just a few miles away. The whole point of the topic was to point out the political correctness involved. To sue Basil Brush for such a comment is ludicrous.
