Before i rebooted, for e.g. the google box on the page was about twice the size, when the page was maximized, compared to now it is small even with a maximised page. Since i rebooted , i guess the setting within the xp set up have changed some how. my graphic card is ati and i checked the setting in there thinking that the screen size my have been changed , but now i think it may be the the windows set up somewhere. I also ran the windows xp disc again and checked the repair button, and still no luck.Maybe you or someone can point me in the right direction.Thank-you for your reply. Irene Posted March 30, 2008 Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 You could try a system restore to a date before this started happening.Start, Help and Support, then under Pick a Task choose Undo changes to your computer with system restore. First Create a Restore point at this moment, as a place where you can come back to if you wish.Then just select a date with a restore point before the problem began. lennyG Posted March 30, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 Following on from what rong has suggested, it seems to me that if you're starting from scratch, you may need to go to Control Panel - Appearance and Themes - Display and go through the settings.Gday pushkin, i tryed what you said the appearance is set to lg. font. I tryed the advance settings & cant see anything about changing the writing size. I can make the headings in the blue bit bigger, but thats all. When i click on control panel all the icons are the right size, just the writing under them is small eg. display, add and remove programs the words are small, and cant find the setting to make them bigger.
