Watchful Posted April 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 Yes, not a lot worth watching for me except wartime series and series like 'Larkrise to Candleford' by Flora Thompson which I am now reading from the library.It's a fascinating record of social history in rural Oxfordshire, autobiographical, mid 19th century just after the Enclosures Act. Same thing happened in Scotland of course and what a great injustice it was The outstanding facts though are that, although life was hard, they were healthy and happy. Who watches it all???All those programmes and hardly anything decent.The Fixer - ended last night - was a better offering I thought. I like the period progs too.
