johnoo Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 I cant get into Windows Explorer, Bt Yahoo and Firefox are OK.I think it is being blocked by the firewall which is NV Active Armour that is set to Medium.My questions are1 Why has it happened?2 How do I access Internet Explorer?Help for a novice please! This solution to a Windows Explorer problem is not to install a new browser until such time as the windows installation is running correctly. Then and only then should other browsers and operating systems be installed, if that is what the user prefers. All too often peoples immediate solution to any Windows problem is to install FF, Opera or some other program.
