Yet another puzzle.

I have yet again been struck by a puzzling thought.

There is this understandable need to bring about a complete stop to the unprecedented tidal wave of knife crime and as a result there have been various "iniatives" as they like to call them. But one thing that I have never seen reported is a round up of Sikhs.

The carrying of a knife is one of a Sikh's religious obligations. It is as obligatory as wearing a turban. So it follows that a turban should be a perfect indicator of the presence of a knife.

I take your point but how many Sikhs have been involved in knife crime? and, there must be millions, just like me, who carry around a perfectly innocent Swiss army knife

I too always have a Swiss Army Knife in my pocket. You never know when you might spot a horse limping with a stone in its hoof and you can then come to the rescue.

The miniature one don't have this device. :D

Dobbin needs to be careful then.

Mine is also a miniature version attached to my keys but the knife has a sharp blade. I carry it mainly for the toothpick as I don't see many limping horses :D

Not many horses to be seen anywhere these days. :D

Did you know that there are now more horses in this country than at any other time in the past...even before the infernal combustion engine?

There are well over 1 million horses. That is one for every sixty members of the population.

Far too many I reckon. We could be growing food.

edit....Removal of extra "r" in 'are'and 'the'.
