How's that for service

That is not so bad.

A friend wanted me to put one together for him a few weeks ago. So I ordered the bits and had it put together within 24 hrs. I rang him to say that it would be a good idea to bring me the flat screen monitor, that I got for him a couple of months ago, so that I could set it up using that. Despite two or three 'phone calls I am still waiting for the monitor (I can't go and get it as my leg ulcer does not like driving).

How's that for service?

Received a quotation for a new computer and ordered on Thursday from a local shop. It was delivered and set up half an hour ago. How about that for service? :D

Is it as you hoped it would be?

ABSOBLOODYLUTELYBRILLIANT. I had the forethought to save all my downloaded installers to a plug in hard drive, this has speeded up the installation of all my programs. I expect to be finished tomorrow. :D

It would be interesting to hear what spec you decided upon. Presumably powerful enough for Windows 7 (or Vista?)

Hope you enjoy your new toy.

1 x Antec NSK4480B Case

1X Asustek P5 mother board

1 x Intel Core2Duo E8400 3Ghz 6MB L2 Cache 1333Mhz FSB

2 x Dual Channel Kingston 1Gb Memory Module

2 x DVDRW 20X DVD Samsung SATA Drive

1 x Seagate 250Gb Sata II HDD

1 x USB/Card Reader Front PC Interface

I don't want Vista. I have had XP SP3. :D
