Yes, all toilets have these built-in, plus many other gadgets. Older toilets had a little console on the right side

the newer ones can be so complex that they come with a remote controller!

We have certainly come a long way; when I first came to this country, most toilets were still a hole-in-the-ground affair - especially public toilets! See http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~AD8Y-HYS/movie.htm click NEXT (nevermind the spelling!) ...

I think they have them in Pakistan too, my brother was showing me the pictures he took over there (not just of toilets) when he was there with the army.

(The ones which were in that URL of Pat's...)

I don't see the use in these toilets - I like the plain old ones that you get in shopping malls where you just move your hand over a thing and it does it for you rather than pushing down on the flusher or figuring out which button on the control you press.

It'd be cool to have a remote control for your toilet/DVD player though, you won't have to forget to pause your movie then... :D
